    MWRD is looking for an Analyst I to fill an open position in their wastewater laboratory.


    Brief description of position: Performs standard laboratory analyses for chemical, biochemical, physical and microbiological properties of sewage and biosolids, industrial waste, stream flows and related samples as required. Works under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor and may work under the technical direction of other Laboratory Services technical staff.

    The Littleton/Englewood Wastewater Treatment Plant has a job opening for an Applied Data Specialist – Water Quality. We are looking for someone with experience developing in LIMS and HachWIMS, but also broad skills in data management and data analysis. GIS knowledge and water quality chemistry background are also a plus. The position is with the Applied Data and Policy Engagement Program within the Strategic Programs Business Group.     The Littleton/Englewood Wastewater Treatment Plant has a job opening for an Analytical Chemist.  The Analytical Chemist is responsible for driving overall Littleton/Englewood Waste Water Treatment Plant success through the administration of the Strategic Programs Business Group and serving as part of the Environmental Science, Innovation and Optimization Programs (ESI&O) Team that is responsible for analytical services and special studies related to advanced wastewater treatment, nutrient management, biosolids recycling and/or environmental pollutant minimization. The Analytical Chemist performs various bacteriological, chemical, and physical test on wastewater and surface water samples. Analyses include wet chemical tests, and the use of advanced laboratory instrumentation for the analysis of metals, organic chemicals, and other constituents. Analyzes lab and project results on wastewater, biosolids, industrial waste, and other environmental samples to help determine efficiency of plant operations. Prepares chemicals, solutions, reagents, and bacteriological media. Stays current on environmental sampling and analysis methods and applicable EPA and CDPHE regulations.
